Typically worn by the Sarakole women in Mali, these necklaces are worn not only for their beauty but also to show their wealth. These necklaces are striking pieces and will be a lovely addition to any collection. These necklaces start by threading glass beads onto wire, followed by small sections of about 10 beads being twisted and cut off into small circles. These individual sections are then wound onto cotton wire and finished with a large glass bead as the clasp.
